Do I need all four books, or can I start with one?

What is gestalt language processing — and is this right for my autistic child?
Some children — including many autistic children — are gestalt language processors: they learn language in phrases and "chunks" rather than single words, often echoing phrases from home, favorite shows, or songs. That's a natural and important way to learn to communicate. The NEW My Routines Book was developed by Ashley Causey, M.S., CCC-SLP, a specialist in gestalt language processing, to support exactly these learners — it models simple, meaningful phrases ("Time for school," "I need help," "I'm all done") your child can hear and begin using during real daily moments. All children can benefit, and the other three books grow right alongside it.
